Lobuche east peak would be first great expedition. Standing at 6119m high above the glacier of the Khumbu region of Nepal, Lobuche east is considered as the most popular 6000m trekking peak in Nepal, that is mostly climbing by Everest climbers as one of the pre-training peak and acclimatization before attempt the Everest summit. From the summit you see a panoramic views of a handful of 8000ers: Everest 8848.86, Lhotse 8516m, Makalu 8481m, Nuptse 7861m, Ama Dablam 6814m, Cholatse 6440m, Pumori 7160m, and other nearby peaks.

This trip will start through famous and traditional Everest trail, leaving from Lukla and heading to the breath-taking landscapes of Sherpa village with exceptional views of great Himalayan peaks such as Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu and Amadablam. Before climbing Lobuche peak, participants can do it via the classic Everest base camp trek or another famous trek route Gokyo chola pass, and that trek will be well acclimatization.

Ultimately, Lobuche East 6119m Peak is suitable for all novice climbers to trying out basic mountaineering skills or to use for acclimatization for another goal, this trip covers the famous route of Everest base camp trek. There’s an easily accessible and gorgeous high camp followed by a beautiful sunrise climb up to the top. This is one of the most frequently climbed acclimatization peaks for Everest or other local objectives.

What experience required?

The lobuche peak climbing ascends the more straightforward, the route to the summit included stretches of moderately steep and exposed terrain and superb challenge for climbers. Due to mix of rock and ice, the participants should have at least basis mountaineering skills including ropes using, rock scrambling, walking on crampons, abseiling using a figure of 8 and use of ice axe. If participants have some experience of winter or alpine courses, it gives perfect knowledge of climbing and technical knowledge. In addition, you will benefit from our climbing guide, who will provide technical training to climb Lobuche Peak at base camp before attempting the summit. A key success factor in expeditions is being in good shape participants should have good training and physical fitness with able to carry 5-8 kg of your bag pack, walking up and down every day for 15/16 days, and able to push yourself during the summit climb.
