The 100% success altitude expeditions classic trek Gokyo-ri trek. The team from Germany Lions Club an everyone reached Gokyo ri 5,357m on 27th April 2023. “The biggest challenge was the Gokyo ri summit day because it was altitude, but all team had a well acclimatized before doing summit. The classic trek was guided by Ngawang Dorji Sherpa 17 days, it started from Hill Village 2,230m lowe Sherpa village. “Everyone was super amazing and fun”. However, after the success of Gokyo Ri, they expressed their extraordinary happiness in life, which was the first records of the team at the point of a high-altitude trek.

A Gokyo valley trek is additional unique trek and super panoramic views trek. This area trekking route is completely less touristic area compared then Everest base camp and Annapurna area route. Walking through the forests and enjoying the beautiful view of  Everest, Lhotse, Cholatse, Thamserku,Climb Ama-Dablam, Makalu and Cho Ouy and Pumori along with most beautiful lakes. Also, this trek is couple of day shorter and less walking hours approx. 3-4 hrs. per day and less high-altitude exposure trekking route than other area trek.

Greetings from the Himalayas mountain,

On April 11 at 8:20 am, our lobuche team  reached on the top of lobuche Peak  6119m. Especially, huge congratulations to the Scott Bernett, in 18 age, and his dad Colin for the great achievement. On the team Scott was the younger first 6000m summiteer from the Scotland via the Everest base camp trek with in 11 days. Scott never climb other mountain except 1300m before. On the other hand, Ngawang Dorji Sherpa super happy that he have succeed to led these over 6000m goal in 2023 for Scott and Colin. Even though, due to the crowd and lodges fully book, team hike directly to Everest base camp 6 hrs from Lobuche before moving to the summit. Very nice weather with a bit of strong wind over 5000m and of course, traffic jams almost everywhere, even Lobuche peak climbing route too. Still, trekkers and climbing are heading to Everest base camp.

All team did great but exhausted after summit peak. Therefore, It was a long and hard day “Strong is beautiful”, so yesterday they fly back to Lukla by helicopter from Dingboche instead of walking down to Lukla 2 days. After waited for 5:30 hrs. same day all team flu back to Ramechhap and drive 6 hrs. to get Kathmandu then team had a nice shower before fly back their home country.

 

 

 

 

 

Nepal has made it Mandatory for all tourists who trek in the Himalayas region in Nepal to hire local assistance guide or porter form the registered trekking or expeditions company, the rules will come into effective from the beginning of April 1 2023.

“Every year, some 11 to 14 trekkers go missing, mostly FITs (Free Independent Trekkers), and this is serious,” president of the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal told The Kathmandu Post. Also, it will help to ensure a safe trekking experience while allowing to keep track of the trekkers and provide rescue services in case of any emergency situations. Therefore, on solo treks, tourists often get lost and might face insecurities. To mitigate that government of Nepal have come to the decision to ban solo treks.

Along with the new regulation will help promote Nepal as a safe destination for tourists at a time when international media are questioning the safety of foreigners in Nepal as well as would benefit both trekkers and the tourism industry as well as local people-guide and porters, whose livelihoods have been affected by the slowdown in the tourism caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In Nepal several trekking routes are in the remote areas without roads and communication facilities, so in case of an emergency, it takes several hours to day to rescue trekking in these areas due to the challenging terrain and lack of infrastructure. Previously, tourist were allowed to trek solo without local assistance guide or porter. However, this roles ban does not apply to the popular Everest region.

 

Congratulations Altitude Expeditions- Expeditions leader Phurba Wangchhu Sherpa officially became a Guinness World Record Holders. We entire family and team super proud his successfully Broke 2  World Records in 2019 April 30 same year. He participate the Rugby game and played in Advance base camp on the North side of the Everest at altitude of 6,322m, his such a great his achievement was the first Nepali climbing Sherpa  records so far.  As a mountaineer profession he attempt Everest 14 times by 2022 and became Guinness world record holder today. Actually he is the heros of all international climbers, who work very hard and guide proper planning system to success each and every our expeditions trip.
