Glass windows support for poor family house

located in Solukhumbu district, the Hill village is one of the most remote areas of Nepal, due to geographic area, no transport access, no good hospital, no touristic area. Working seasonal job such as guides, porter, life of village people are very basic. The first problem, due to lack of finances, they couldn’t buy important things such as food, cooking oil glass for windows and zinc for roofing, they have been using plastic in a lot of cases since the earth quake of 2015 and this causes many problems during the summer due to leaking water and cold as well as wind damage.

Being poor in Nepal is a bit different than being poor in your country.

Last year, we successfully glazed 5 houses with new windows and reroofed one house by the Germany lions club of Korbach-Arlosen donating for these past project.  Of course we believe that :

In the words of the Dalai Lama;
Helping others brings deep satisfaction. No matter how powerful we may seem to be, our survival depends on the community. Clearly the community is crucial to individual happiness, so if we make others happy, we too derive benefit. We need to take action. However, if we act out of self-centredness, it will be difficult to be transparent, to earn others’ trust and friendship. By learning to be more warm-hearted we can create a more compassionate world.
That’s why, We are Altitude Expeditions and the Waku Hill village entire people’s would like to say thank you so much and very appreciated your big support to the rural areas peoples. Now, the families from the villages houses pattern are completely changes as well as more comfortable and warm than before. Once again thank you to Lions club of Germany Org and the coordinator team.
