Ngawang Dorji Sherpa

Ngawang is a highly experienced-guide specialized for treks and peak climb. Born to be a climber, he developed a keen interest to meet and work with foreign tourists visiting new areas in his childhood. He started by taking the traditional Sherpa path by working as a porter then an assistant guide, and after being persistent enough for such a long period finally as a fully qualified guide. Ngawang now has built up a great knowledge and experience in himalayan trips. With over 10 years of experience, following this Ngawang continued to explore the mountain climbing. Now, he has summited Climb Ama-Dablam Expds 2 times, Climb Mera Peak more then 10 times, Climb Island peak 10+ times lobuche Peak 9+ in the Himalayas. He has led several 7000m expeditions including Baruntse, Climb Ama-Dablam, Himlung Himal  and Mont_Blanc– in 2022 along with EVEREST BASE CAMP, Annapurna circuit, TREKKING MANASLU CIRCUIT, Langtang trek, and Makalu base camp trek.

He believe the biggest challenges offer the greatest rewards. It’s not only his passion, but also his business; Altitude Expeditions. He has a true passion in life- sharing his love of the Himalayas Mountains and beautiful places with others- Ngawang also visits the Alps and France, Switzerland, and Germany twice in 2019 and 2022. He not only guided trips but also responsible for all details and the logistics associated on our Himalayan trips. In addition to running the Altitude Expeditions, Ngawang works in our giving-back schemes in remote Sherpa villages when not on an expedition.

Phurba Wangchhu Sherpa

Phurba Wangchhu Sherpa (Guinness World Record holder and most successful Everest summits)

Phurba is one of the most experienced and active climbers presently organizing and leading expeditions in the Himalayas, well respected within the Sherpa community, and the current World record holder for the person to summit Mount Everest the highest number of times. He broke 2 World Records in 2019 April 30 same year, Participate in The Highest Altitude Game of Rugby seven is 6,322m (20,741ft. 5.64 in) and was received by Wooden Spoon United Kingdom

He belongs to the beautiful region of Nepal below the Everest region. With over 17 years of leading successful expeditions, he is a very experienced guide and has climbed Everest 14 times (south-north side) till 2022 and who has successfully led many expeditions to 8000m including Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Manaslu, and 7000m peak to Baruntse, Himlung, Amadablam, and many more peaks and treks. He has a great record of successful summits for clients and has the experience to make your dreams a reality.

Phurba has climbed numerous major expeditions in Nepal, Tibet, Pakistan, and India. Phurba is not only an expedition head guide but also makes climbing Everest and other mountaineering expeditions programs possible at Altitude Expeditions.
